Robbie Towns is an actor who works predominantly in theatre throughout Canada and The UK. Although originally from the farm in Alberta, Robbie currently resides in southern Ontario, Canada and is privileged to live and work on the traditional territory of the Anishnabek, Haudenosaunee, Ojibway/Chippewa peoples of Canada.

ABOUT

From a private performance for Prince Charles and Camilla at Holyrood Castle in Edinburgh, to the Bunka Kaikan Concert Hall in Tokyo, Japan, to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, London, Robbie is thankful for the varied and incredible stages he has been able to perform on. Robbie’s formal training includes a Masters in Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and also a degree from Grant MacEwan University Theatre Arts program in Edmonton, AB. Robbie has also given back to formal theatre training as a sessional tutor at the University of Saskatchewan Drama Department.

In addition to attending multiple workshops on classic text, stage combat, and clowning workshops, Robbie is an experienced cabaret artist. Selected Cabarets include WELCOME TO THE PARTY (Fringe Festival, Edmonton); ECLECTICISM (La Cite Francophone, Edmonton); CALL ME! (The Arches, Glasgow); WEST END SUNDAY (The Lucky Pig, London).

During the Covid-19 pandemic Robbie appeared in C-O-N-T-A-C-T (www.contact-the-show.com) which ran in Toronto from June 2021 and in Windsor September 2021.
